EKAR Furniture operates a vertically integrated manufacturing facility with dedicated QC inspection teams at every stage of production. Each piece that leaves our factory undergoes a structured multi-point quality control process.
1. Production Quality Standards
Frame Construction: All frames are built from kiln-dried solid hardwood (moisture content below 12%), engineered to resist warping and joint weakening in international shipping conditions.
Cushion Filling: High-density resilient foam at 2.8 lb/cu ft with down feather wrap, tested to retain 90% of original loft after 50,000 compression cycles.
Upholstery: All fabrics and leathers are sourced from certified mills. Fabric certifications include Oeko-Tex Standard 100, ensuring zero harmful substances.
Metal Hardware: All exposed metal trims and legs are finished with anti-rust electroplating, rated for indoor environments worldwide.
Stone & Marble Tops: Each stone slab is hand-selected and inspected for veining consistency, surface finish, and structural soundness before bonding.
2. Pre-Shipment Inspection
Before loading, every order undergoes:
- Full visual inspection (surface finish, color match, stitching alignment)
- Structural stress test (frame load capacity 800 lbs for seating)
- Dimension verification against customer-approved production drawings
- Photographic inspection report provided to buyer

4. Warranty Coverage
EKAR Furniture provides a 3-Year Limited Warranty on all manufactured products, covering:
- Solid frame joints and structural integrity
- Metal hardware mechanical function (hinges, slides, legs)
- Stone and marble top adhesion
Not covered under warranty:
- Normal wear and fading of upholstery fabric or leather
- Cushion compression from regular daily use
- Damage caused by misuse, outdoor exposure, or unauthorized modifications
5. Warranty Claims
To file a warranty claim, contact info@ekarfurniture.com with:
- Original order number
- Photos or video of the defect
- Brief description of the issue
Our QC team will respond within 2 business days with a resolution plan.
